“The hotel is exceptional, we were so well attended to, with no problems. It felt so very much like being at home because we felt so comfortable! I would like to say how lovely all the staff were, always polite and kind, willing to help in any way – it made staying away, especially for our three juniors, very easy and enjoyable. The food too was great – we especially enjoyed steak night!”
“Great service! This place was amazing! I was really happy with the staff and how they treated myself and my partner. Our room, was stunning, but had some technical problems so we were upgraded to a suite straight away! I left my t-shirt there the next morning when we departed and they were kind enough to send it back to me in the post. Really nice atmosphere in the place, if I’m ever back around that area again this hotel will be my first choice, I cannot thank them enough for the service they provided.”
“Hidden Gem close to Swindon Had a one night stay for business purposes and could not fault the hotel at all. I was introduced to Linda the hotel manager on my arrival and was checked in speedily and shown my room. The room was very nice/ clean with all amenities needed for a business stop over. The bar area was a nice area to enjoy a pint or a glass of wine, although with the weather being nice you have the added bonus of sitting in the well laid out garden. The food was very good and very good value for money. Would I return, YES, without a doubt. Top marks for a very warm welcome and a lovely stay.”
“We have just returned home after a really lovely Afternoon Tea which was a 70th Birthday surprise for my wife from our daughter. The menu comprised three types of sandwiches, sausage rolls, cheese straws, jam and clotted cream scones, individual heart shaped Victoria sponges, macrons, Rocky Road cakes, lemon posset, tea and fresh coffee. Every bit was delightfully presented and absolutely delicious. In particular, the sausage rolls and lemon posset were exceptional. The service was very friendly and pleasant and they were only too pleased to wrap a “doggy bag” for us as the portions were very ample and far too good to waste. We noticed this seemed to be common practice amongst the other diners so obviously lots of satisfied customers. Highworth is a beautifully unspoiled Cotswold market town and the Hotel is delightfully in keeping with the surroundings. We can thoroughly recommend a visit and look forward to eating there again.”
